Beacon Basketball Classic 2011
The eight annual Beacon Basketball Classic was terrific, raising $20,000 and showcasing great hish school matchups between Seminole District and nondistrict teams as far away as Fluvanna. Children's Miracle Network Hospitals sincerely thanks Beacon Credit Union for putting the Classic together. . . it has become a sporting institution in Central and Southern Virginia
I Am Woman 5K Run/Walk
A record number of women of all ages - 611 - ran and walked the 5 kilometer course at Peaksview Park to raise $12,700 for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in Lynchburg, Saturday October 22, 2011.
